The concept of a Free/Fun Gear 5 (à la “Kung Fu Drunken Style”) has a lot of potential but the execution couldn’t be any worse! The new art style in this ark was a huge downgrade to begin with and it absolutely did NOT marry well with this style of fighting turning a well respected Anime into a cheap cartoonish production with Looney Tunes vibes

mmm It's ok, I expected some emotional clips about his previous transformations or some dialogue from the Skypiea Arc to complement the episode, even if it's not in the manga.
The problem of the Kozuki family I think did not fit into this highly anticipated episode.
I seriously hoped this episode would equal or surpass 1015

I did not like the "Looney Tunes" action we saw with the eyes as they threw punches. Also the fight when Kaido threw that death beam was a bit hard to follow.
Not sure what i was hoping for, its just the art style and the way the fight went so far was not what i was expecting. Hopefully next week will be better....
