As much as Tina Fey and Jane Lynch keep stealing all the scenes they're in, it's not enough to get around the fact that this season has been subpar, compared to the first one. Still good, but no longer great.
There's enough really good red herrings in this show. From Mabel, to Lane's character, to Tina Fey's character, to even Amy Schumer. The stuff with Mabel kind of escalated a bit too much for my liking, but otherwise - I still don't have a firm idea on who it is, except for one potential character.

Ok, this is getting embarassing.
The Mabel/Alice part where there's no chemistry whatsoever (and I like them both, but their acting this season is below par); the new Brazzos series (the "I want soup" scene. WTF?); Oliver has been an over the top/cartoonish/cheap laughter version of season 1; Jan which has no point in being there anymore and especially the sort-of-continuation of the relationship with Charles?!?; Jane Lynch character again over the top; cheap explanation for the benefit of the viewer ("we have a friend in the police, she texted us on the roof that night") or to lead to some predictable twist (that there will be a twist, not the twist itself); that random Mabel/Poppy interaction to get her to do the right thing, them having never interacted before?; the cheap phone toss (over the top); ok, the breaking up was funny and felt like the old OMITB - not trying too hard; That finale tho...
