The pacing is weird. They never continue where they left off. It's more like they come back to a certain plotline whenever they feel like it instead of continuing it in a consistent manner. The previous episode left off on Thomas finding out that his father is in danger and that Tierney is not who she seems yet that wasn't continued in this episode. I'd be genuinely surprised if the next episode is focused on Jax and explores whatever she is. Especially considering that that would be the consistent thing to do given that this episode ended with it being disclosed that what happened to Delaney was to use her to keep an eye on Jax to determine whether or not she's a threat.
