Praise to the writers. They seem to have done their research. Covilhã is actually known to be a city in the mountains to have investments in data centers in Portugal. They only missed the pronunciation and the accent in the subtitles.
The virus is gone but you got a new virus that do exactly the same as the old one even it's totally different.
That make sense why change the plot !
