A TV Show to forget as soon as posible.
I was disappointed with the season finale. Even if the set up for new season is more of the same...I'll look forward to watching.
What a waste of my time?
I hate when series end in a cliff. Now if the show gets canceled, we'll never get a conclusion to the ending of this story. Having said that, I liked watching it every week even if I didn't love everything in this rebooted season.
Fair enough. The whole season was a nice bedtime story. I enjoy diversity watching all sorts of series and this one provided a nice different theme to it.

The story itself is alright. A reflexion on current political situation. I have no problem with that. However, does it have anything whatsoever to do with the name “Penny Dreadful”? And what does that Santa Muerte have to do with the story in anyway? It seems to me that Santa Muerte was added to the plot only to justify the Penny Dreadful title.
