The best episode of the series. At a massive 46 minutes, Summer Belongs to You is pretty much the thesis statement of the entire show - an ode to creativity, imagination, and the power of belief and optimism, while also delivering a spectacularly animated adventure with stellar character writing, satisfying payoffs for long term fans, and a collection of songs so good that you'll immediately wanna find them on Spotify and download them right away. There is so much to love in it - from Candace and Jeremy's relationship finally going the extra step, to our first real look into Isabella's actual frustrations in getting Phineas to notice her, to the final 10 minutes which are still some of the finest stuff to ever hit animated television.

It's honestly great television, regardless of whether or not it's animated. It's a fantastic piece of work, and pushes Phineas and Ferb past simply "a great show" to "one of the all time greats". It's everything you could want and more in a show, and that final song remains one of the most inspirational things on children's TV. Iconic.
