Nice tension but if there's one thing that I hate are situations crafted to precisely to get the story going while being completely unbelievable: yes, I'm talking about the CO escaping right into Scofield's cell and grabbing exactly the sink so that T-Bag discovers the tunnel. It's a potential element of further problems so it could be interesting, but arriving to it in this way it's just cheap writing, come on

I really love the idea of tv shows have two-parter episodes, however this episode felt too long for what was happening. Too many similar shots of the prisoners rebelling/yelling/breaking in, just very repetitive and kinda bad storytelling, if you need to emphasise how big their take-over of the prison is by showing them do the same thing multiple times. I reckon a good 10 minutes could've been shed from the runtime.

That being said, T-Bag is so freakin' annoying and it definitely feels like a heavy coincidence that the CO landed in Michael's cell, and happened to grab the sink. Again, if it was just to reveal the breakout plan to more unnecessary people and for the main group to have to deal with it, it's just kinda lazy.

I also realised the guy who looked at the tapes and gave a professional opinion plays Joe Cruz in Chicago Fire, and CO Keith Stolte plays Mouch in the same series. Matt Olmstead was a producer for both those shows, so slight surprise there, was just trying to figure out who they were before I had to look it up!

Lupine was more than a match for the guy he was fighting in the house. The kidnapper was wearing a long trenchcoat, and that could’ve been grabbed and swung him against a wall, or down the stairs. That Lupin could lose in hand to hand combat against him is ridiculous.

I heard “I’m in here, I’m in here“ a dozen times, the same every time, and I was ready to think that the kid was too stupid to live. Was it so inconceivable to say “I’m in a car dad, I’m in the trunk of a car dad.
I think they’re setting Lupin up for appearing weak to his son's mother and she’s going to abandon him

Why do I feel like Sara will help Michael and his brother escape eventually?
Anyway, I'm mad that they have to handle T-Bag with the escape now. I hate the guy.
