Does anyone feel like show is getting bored since last few episodes?

By far the worst episode. Just utterly terrible, S8 is mixed bag but overall more bad.

Is this coming from the possibility that Shawn is considering going to San Fran without Gus? Since I don't watch these kinds of movies, this has been terrifying.
