Am I in a no-win scenario here? I got what I asked for—a Quantum Leap episode in which there's no way for Sam to pursue the romantic angle—and still I'm disappointed. Maybe it's because this whole story kind of went…nowhere. The resolution was unsatisfying, and there was no real closure. All of the characters were as flat as ever, and that godawful recurring strobe edit didn't help.
