Once again, the voice of a guest star is more recognizable than his face. The last few days have been quite the festival of seeing Star Trek actors in other shows, for me. This time, it's J.G. Hertzler, out of his Klingon makeup but still talking about honor. (And his character has an absolutely adorable daughter. Why haven't I seen Juliet Sorci before? I guess it's because all of her TV credits appear to be small one-off roles—and she's done nearly no screen acting work since 1993.)
I wish it was harder to believe that the ship has a giant garbage chute for dumping its trash straight into the ocean, but it's both plausible based on past human behavior toward the oceans, and a real thing that happens. :-/
