There's been one premise since this show started. It's that the Prophet Who Never Misses negotiates in 100% good faith. He will give the money and accept the hostages end of story. He doesn't care who you are. He doesn't care what you've done as long s you hand over the hostages. He walks away, you walk away. It's all about saving lives.
This episode forgot that and it makes the ending hilarious. There's a lot of stupid refugee moments but it's mostly encapsulated in that time they stole money from the human traffickers and then refused to give it back because "do you know how many lives it could save in Syria" even though the human scum that transported them are literally holding like 20 people hostage in a container to die of heat.
