Epic scruff-off between Ulrich and Perry. Kudos to the make-up department for not skimping on making Jones the elder every bit the flushed, blotchy mess he should be (though the lack of continuity with the dreamboat bad boy biker a couple of episodes back is a reminder that in most cases, this network drama business is very much a make-it-up-as-you-go kind of endeavour).
Seriously? Another plot development just because people were so unbelievably stupid to have a very private talk in public? If your plot only moves forward because people act like idiots, it's not a good plot.
So happy we finally got an episode on Jughead! And so happy we got to see a tiny sliver of happiness from him - aka that scene where he smiles after he walks Betty home.
How exactly was FP planning on paying for the meal at Pop's? He was a deadbeat with no job, and only just got a job again - wouldn't have been paid yet.
The agreement between Hermione and Veronica is ridiculous. Hermione is putting her infidelity on the same level as Veronica spending a bit too much money, and also demands that Veronica accept the fact that she's cheating on Veronica's father. Absurd. But this isn't the first time this show has treated improper relationships like they're no big deal.

I'm glad Betty and Jughead are immediately open about their relationship. I thought this would turn into a lot of awkwardness, they wouldn't know how to feel about each other, they would lie to their friends etc and it would drag on for the next episodes. I'm pleasantly surprised again.
