:asterisk_symbol:Sigh:asterisk_symbol: Another exhausting musical episode. Boo.
Puke in my mouth, urk.
Oh great. It's another musical.
I skipped the songs... I watched the whole epidose in 20' :joy:
The only good scene was with Kevin and his mom (btw I think they had never showed her before :face_with_raised_eyebrow:)
Four episodes left and they do a musical. Why? How are they planning on wrapping this series up? Are they gonna get back to their own timeline?
Sorry but I loved this!
I started watching Riverdale because I thought it was gonna be a show like TVD, OG Gossip Girl, Smallville, etc, it wasn’t, it turns out it was a non sense mess, and I loved it cause it made me laugh and disconnect from reality for 42 mins. this season has been very boring, so I clinch to whenever they give us a small piece of the non sensical Riverdale.
Okay so now I get why Julian was recasted, they needed someone who could sing and maybe the og actor couldn’t.
And as much as I find this season boring, I’m obsessed with this Archie, like finally his character isn’t about violence or girls, he was upfront with V and B, and is finally focusing on what he wants for himself career wise.
And even tho I hate that Kevin and Cheryl had to deal with being back in the closet, I like that they are in cute relationships, I think Kevin never got a normal loving bf so this is an upgrade for him! And I had no idea Kevin had a mom! And a cool mom, from what I understood she is very supportive of Kev!
And I’m shipping more and more V and B.
This season gets exponentially worse with each episode. :weary:
oh yay, another musical episode sarcasm
have the writers even listened to a single Cole Porter song?
Another pointless musical episode, as expected. The music wasn't absolutely terrible this time around, though. So there's at least that.
Honestly, it would've been hilarious had they used this musical episode to actually begin tying the plot back to modern times somehow. It would've been the perfect capstone to all of the musical episodes. Alas, they did not do that.
Strange decision to cast Midge in your musical that you plan on performing in the spring. She's pregnant, and will very much be out of commission a few months from now.
Seriously, they're making Betty and Veronica gay now? In 1955, no less. So fucking stupid. How much do you want to bet that this is just queerbaiting that will get undone when they reset the timeline? (Assuming that happens.)
Whoa, whoa, Clay, it is not your place to share the news of Kevin's parents. My god.
How did everyone know the lyrics to the song that Kevin only wrote the previous night and hadn't shared with anyone yet?
Well…let me say this…Musical episodes are extremely tough. Usually, they’re dreadful. This one….it was tolerable. I give the actors credit. While I didn’t love the episode, it wasn’t rubbish so that’s pretty good. 6/10 = slightly favorable
Another musical episode, those are my favourite let's gooooooo /srs
Riverdale is gen-z's Glee & it seems to have wholly embraced that
betty and veronica development is top tier, my god, we deserved this since s1

The best thing I can say about this episode, is at least they had the decency to label it as a Musical.
Skip. Avoid. Save Yourself.
