I actually thought the VR experience could be a potential Segway into various forms of acknowledgement. The guests even asked for more info after experiencing it. It probably needed a longer runtime.
At swift 32 minute running time, the best thing I can say about this episode is that it's pleasant. It looks pleasant, Issa Rae and her supporting characters look pleasant, and the story's conflict and resolution are also... pleasant.
The moral implication is pretty direct and while this episode does not break any new ground, it was pleasant enough that I would probably watch the next episode on this anthology series.
