A very interesting change of pace. I'm worried about Darlene. This season has been quite dark you know so far. Quite serious i mean. Like at the start we learn Becky was already having sex, which was a surprise. Then we see Jackie's life continuing to fall apart. And now Darlene is going through this emo/loner/introverted phase, or maybe it's not a phase and just who she is now, or maybe this will be a one episode thing. It's interesting looking at this episode because it's from the early 90s and it gives a snapshot of a minority population back then, and how exponentially that will grow, that of the increasing loneliness of people in society. And it gives a view into how a percentage of parents reacted and dealt with it, and what parents back then might have reacted to that behavior. Today is a bit different. Parents are either more aware of this behavior or are ambivalent or oblivious as i'm sure many parents back then were. I don't actually like this serious change of pace in season 4, bit i can roll with it. And it is kind of interesting. I guess we'll see where we go from here. Also is it just me or does Roseanne seemed to have lost a lot of weight?
