Omg what even is the show at this point, this season has been 70% irrelevant flashbacks, 20% social messages and 10% actual plot, and then when Helena came out it felt straight out of a telenovela. Don’t get me wrong, I love that the show is raising awareness about different social issues like immigration, racism, the health care system and etc, but when I watch a science fiction/fantasy show, I do it to get distracted from our awful reality and I feel like this season they’ve lost the balance between the social messages and the plot, and also this feels like orphan black + greys anatomy + telenovela. And then the big bad villain this season is just Alex’s brother??? Like we went from Noah, powerful evil alien, to Flint who i don’t even know his deal or motivation, hopefully the last two episodes are better!
