Sometimes I just don't understand the whole point of competing if at the end Ru is going to choose whoever he wants.
Based on the finale runway Bimini was the winner, based on the final lipsync Tayce ate it up and based on the whole competition Bimini shoul've been also the winner! I was so happy to finally see a queen speaking for myself and now i'm just sad, the good thing is that the whole fanbase loves Bimini so as the previous season with Divina she will have great opportunnities to come!
Girl... they really threw it all away right at the finale. Based on overall report card, Bimini takes it. Based on final lip sync, Tayce takes it. Instead we get Lawrence Chaney??? Hell, Ellie arguably should've been third over Lawrence. The "rigga morris" was out of control on this one.
I don't even know why they had a final lipsync... because based on that, Tayce should have won

I was rooting for bimini, but lawrence's victory makes sense and is deserved. big girls are winning!
but for me, the best thing about this episode was seeing the returning queens, what a joy it was. the way it was done was great, with three different moments of their participation, and the first appearance was not announced before - so good. even veronica, ginny lemon and joe black are back! so good to see awhora and tia kofi.
oh, and i think this season owes tayce. this queen looked so worn out in this last episode, and the way ru and production conducted her narrative was indeed exhausting. such a shame for such a fierce queen.
but what a great season! I'm looking forward to season 3.
Sometimes when there is no fairness behind a decision, you ask yourself if it's good for the views, but this choice would have no effect on the views, as it was the last episode of the season. The only explanation, as suggested, is that the person simply appealed to Ru, and everything else was thrown out the window.
IMO: Bimini won the overall season. Tayce won the final lipsync. (un)surprisingly, neither of them won , but i hope them all the best!
This show is dead to me. Bimini was robbed. And Lawrence could have been eliminated a few episodes ago.
It's decisions like these that make me question the criteria that Ru uses. For the entire show Bimini has been on the rise, progressively getting better and showing her personality every challenge. And while Lawrence has been hilarious and charismatic, she has had some ups and downs. Ultimately, based on track record, based on final runway and challenge it should have been Bimini. I love Lawrence and she was one of my top picks all season, but as time went on she wasn't my number one nor the one I thought would win.
My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined.
