I did enjoy this but the casting was a little off from the book, Shardlake I always imagined older, more experienced, much the same for Barak, he should be more of a thug than a dandy. Par for the course is the colour blind casting, but it actually does detract from the story here, and going forward, as Guy the Moor, is seen as a suspicious outsider, which really doesn't work when half the cast is black too. I'm usually all for casting any actor, but in this case it takes away a very specific plot/character point, Guy, and Shardlake, the outsiders empathising with each other's treatment in Tudor England...
