Wow that was one powerful episode. As the other commentator said, I had to pause the episode couple of times & I was like WTH, that’s some messed up stuff. One thing I don’t believe, if Mel was that smart, well put together, strong minded, etc. why would she be so weak to instantly smoke? Maybe there’s some truth in that. When kids are pushed hard to always strive for the stars; when they crash, they crash hard. Just sad.

That was by far the best episode to date. The roller rink scene was epic and the use of Lionel Richies 'Sail On' was an excelent choice. The acting in this show always hits on all cylinders. This is, without a doubt, this years top tv show right now. Definitely an award winning.
