Space Force: Season 2

2x01 THE INQUIRY

This is going to be a tough season... Ben Schwartz gets some terrible jokes to try and make work. Also don't know why Diana Silvers is still around. Brings nothing to the show.

Good it's back for a second season. It has some potential. I believe in this show. This is a terrible season premiere though. Totally uneventful. Not even funny. It's them in an D. C. office building waiting and talking - while they have a space port to film at. They could have just said: after the disaster SF is on parole and need to prove themselves. Cause that's all I get out from this episode.

It's stupid but it's short and funny enough to keep watching it. Most jokes are flat but it has it's moments. Especially Mark and Adrian are pretty ok (cool voices and a decent script).

well, I hope the next one is better... but I doubt it could be any worse anyway

Just one thing stands out in this episode: how useless and annoying the Tony character is.

Otherwise it's ok. Easy watch, nothing really good or really funny. Nothing that bad either.

And yes, clearly Angela and Chan did it, and she is pregnant

Very boring episode, too uplifting music, jokes with very little comedic effect. Not a very strong start to this new season of which I knew very little about. I had no idea it was coming out when it came out in the first place.

This show is very uncommon, I didn't remember this feeling: it has a very specific and dry humour which occasionally turns to the absurd, but with a good heart. And that's the main thing - it often shifts to solid and yet simple nice moments, as it happens in the end of the episode.
It was a welcome back episode, to set the atmosphere and reconnect with the characters. Without gimmick but with some sweet scenes ( i.e. the final one and the chair race in the corridor ).
It doesn't call or runs after guffaws, it's more subtle yet simple, not trying to overdo (which is many comedies and sitcoms capital sin) and playing on the chemistry between cast members (Carell and Malkovich above all).
I like it.
You can grow fond of it.
