All these made-up sci-fi words are nothing less than a linguist's dream: Astrogator, Lichtspruch, Rücksturz, Impulswellen, Interstellare Lebewesen. Awesome. And that 60's space funk music is catchy AF.
This episode is weaker than the season premiere. It's basically a glorified war story in space. No attempts were made to communicate, negotiate or understand the alien species dubbed "The Frogs". After the seasons promising first episode it's a bit disappointing to see that the show doesn't continue to elaborate on the futuristic human utopia. Instead, in this episode, political and military leaders and the crew are infighting, like that's a drama about a 1944 German submarine, men save the world, women are saved by men, other women are just annoying/stupid and are treated in a very misogynistic fashion by powerful men.
