[9/10] Oh my goodness this was fun. Siccing somebody from Too Many Cooks onto Star Trek is fantastic. The increasing absurdity of Kirk using a phrase that would offend M’Ress, to him using other run-of-the-mill phrases that get escalating ridiculous aliens upset as well is a hilarious. (I died laughing at the Knicksonians)

But then they took it in other hilarious directions, like Kirk’s aside about not needing a water pressure team on the bridge, or his bizarre rant about wanting a girlfriend who doesn’t judge him for eating mac and cheese and wants to play Risk with him. There’s a nice dose of off-the-wall humor here that really agrees with me.

Overall, a delightfully fun bit of lunacy. Appropriately enough, this reminded me of some of the old Cartoon Network/Adult Swim bumpers, with a similarly dada-ist sense of humor. Can’t wait to see the rest!

Ethan Peck as Spock, with Pete Holmes as the captain.

Looking at reviews online, I see that people were offended by this short sketch about people being easily offended. I just thought it was funny. And very much of the times we live in.
My 804th episode of Star Trek, out of 918.

6/10
