Good episode. By now we know that Seven won't disappoint when she takes center stage. This Borg personality disorder is serious and well explained but it's still silly isn't it? Some scenes are great but are basically only added for comic relief (like the Ferengi scene). It shows Ryan's talent for being funny. It's not as funny as the episode in which Shmullus controls Seven's body but still funny. The funny scenes take too much away from the serious parts though.
Jeri Ryan and Robert picardo are the only reasons to watch this series

"Vinculum" is a really silly word.
This episode is all about the killer performance from Jeri Ryan as she moves between completely different personalities. Great stuff. Her face completely changes for some of them. Outside of that, it's all kind of going through the motions. I was particularly surprised when the Doctor referred to the mind-meld as "Vulan mumbo-jumbo". Not very enlightened, eh, Doc?
The time frame for some of the Borg assimilations doesn't really seem right, either. Apparently a Federation starship was taken years before the Enterprise first encountered them.
