Perfectly good episode. It felt a little easy, like an odd combination of The Last Samurai, Kung Fu Panda, and even Return of the Jedi, but Hondo is an entertaining villain, the action was well-choreographed and animated, and even if the story was pretty on-the-nose the whole way, they were grace notes for everyone involved to where you could tell the plot was well-structured even if the dialogue and themes were more clumsy, or at least blunt. It was a good enough "meat and potatoes" kind of episode of the show.

Good Seven Samurai homage. But I really expect a Jedi like Anakin to beat a mere pirat like Hondo. But the villain has to survive to be back again.

I usually don't tend to comment single episodes of a show, but I must make an exception on this one.

At first, I was curious what to make of the dedication to Akira Kurosawa in the beginning, but then I realized that there's 4 bounty hunters and 3 Jedi and the penny's dropped :-)

It's a great episode and - like already mentioned - a good homage to Akira Kurosawa's master piece The Seven Samurai. So I really enjoyed this one.
