[7.2/10] Like Lys herself, I am a sucker for cute animals. So doing an episode where the kids mission is to save a bunch of cute alien walruses who are migrating across a snowy plain is going to have all kinds of charm for a mark like me. That alone bumps this up a bit.
But the didactic storytelling here is solid too. Lys and the gang encounter plenty of obstacles, and the lesson to stop, take a deep breath, and work out the problem is a good one. Using flutes to find their stranded pal is clever, and their using the space walruses to surf the avalanche made for some engaging visuals.
Overall, basic as ever, but perfectly suited for its audience.
