I’m glad they did this episode, it’s one that stuck with me across all of them because we get to hear Apophis’ host and get a sense of the suffering he has endured trapped in his own body while Apophis performs atrocities. The actor playing Apophis never disappoints. I was a bit surprised at Jack’s complete disregard of the host though in his desire to kill him. Also you’d have thought that in their encounters with Thor up to this point he would have shared the tech to destroy the Goa’uld/Goold/Gowoold (insert the many ways people pronounce this) with them.
