I love how much fun this has with the concept. The pacing is great and Amanda Tapping in particular portrays Carter in such a different manner. The editing is fantastic too as some of the jump cuts result in real laugh out loud moments. A joy to watch.
It's also so cool to revisit elements of the original movie, get a glimpse of Ra and the classic magic Jaffa helmets.
Amazing episode and such a fun one too.
Good concept, but excruciatingly slow. They really dragged this out to fill two episodes...
Also, when did Carter get promoted over O'Neill? Why would she be the one to allow anything? Last I checked she was two ranks below O'Neill. He gets the first, final, and only say on the matter.
