A surprisingly good episode considering nothing stood out as good. It was very steady and each of the characters covered for the annoying characteristics of the others. The balance proves very effective and enjoyable.

I can taste the irony of Ishta saying this, given her later actions. Plus it's a nice subtle nod to her previous role as a cool, logical Vulcan scientist on Star Trek: Enterprise.
Putting up with Ishta and her impulsive decision-making would have been more palatable if we ever got to see Rya'c and Kar'yn again. I made the mistake of looking at future IMDB credits, and this was both characters' final appearance. Such a shame.
