A great episode to foreshadow what is about to come. Claudia gets to shine as Vala after so long away, and getting to see the day-to-day of the followers of the Ori gave a good angle into their mindset. More of the 'same but different' tilt when compared to the Goa'uld and Jaffa, but with a fervour not even the most devout of the Jaffa ever showed. There is no seed of doubt to pick at in this army. Not until overzealous Priors find ways to plant it.
And of course, Michael Ironside is always brilliant. Plus the humour scattered throughout and it makes for one excellent penultimate episode. And it only gets better on rewatches, knowing what is about to transpire.
Michael Ironside! I am so pleased and excited that we get to see him in SG1. He has such a great character, too!
On the flip side, the A story is really a B story stretched by 2 or 3 times to fill an hour... ugh....
