T'was a bit like watching a mini movie. The show has many mood swings, but I loved this guilty pleasure.

Lol I mean I was a teenager in the early 2000s, so times are different now with kids caring about stuff, but I can't imagine someone at a teenage party being like, "Hey quick, turn on CNN!" No, doesn't happen.

In the penultimate episode of Season 1, Superman & Lois still finds ways to surprise us with plot twists! The children are written quite well here, with an appropriate level of "I don't understand why my parents are doing these dumb things that make no sense" that maintains a sense of groundedness and age-appropriate realism in the characters, and the cinematography and directing here continues to shine and display shockingly high production values, for a CW program.

I don’t think there was a single thing in this episode that wasn’t 100% predictable. There was even one scene in the town hall where I thought “I bet you they say this next” and I was right for pretty much the entire scene. Who writes this stuff ???

Looks like The typical CW nonsense is finally kicking in. 7 mins of the episode was good while 33 mins was the typical CW BS drama.
