A family / enemy / love / friends / whatever else triangle... Seriously? They tried to make it less predictable seeing these are the only people on the planet I guess it makes it hard to not get into this tangle.

I might just forget this season and come back for Season 4 if there is such a thing coming.

Everything is getting a bit too coincidental for my liking.
So Lois gets cancer and goes to goes to Manheim's hospital to investigate him. Fair enough.
Then the only woman she makes friends with there just so happens to be Manheim's secret wife? Hmm okay. That's possible.
But that woman is also the superpowered woman who tried to kill Clark and Jordan last episode, and John Henry Irons before that? This is getting a bit too coincidental.
THEN Natalie meets a random boy at a party, and that kids parents just so happen to be the two main villains of the season who have personally tried to kill Natalie's dad more than once?
And NONE of that was planned by any of them? Manheim didn't get his wife to befriend Lois, he doesn't know that his son is dating JHIs daughter. He doesn't know that Clark is Superman. All this stuff just somehow coincidentally happened?

Don't get me wrong, that actual story of the show is still great, but the magnitude of all these coincidences just to have the main cast linked to each other some how is just dumb.

The most popular word in this series is “sorry”. Never seen so many sorry’s in my life.

The show can be cut in half with cutting out all the apologies.

I could write this in English, but I write it in Spanish because it is the language in which I express myself best.

This chapter moved me to the bottom of my soul... The problem with the episode is that you have to be in a specific state of mind... which is not the case with absolutely everyone. I was in the state of mind that the writers were in and I understood that it is one of the most complex things that can happen to any human. I cried like a long time ago, because I deactivated every cell in my body that led to that specific moment of so much suffering, but at the same time wanting to continue with life. Thank you writers for reminding me of that.

The ones who didn't understand, that's okay... no one blames them... that's what life is all about, after all.

PD: Google translate did the thing. 'Cause don't let me post it in spanish.

I think they are just trying to get cancelled now, or move to daytime soap operas. After the fun of the previous seasons this has just plummeted off a bridge. At this point we are just fast forwarding past anything with Lana and her annoying brat.

Were the writers already on strike when this glacier was written?

Another boring episode. The death of another great show due to terrible writers trying to make a show about Superheros more “real” and relatable the human condition. The beginning of the end.

I almost never give something below a 5. But this is the last straw with this show. I'm out. It's beyond bad..

If Clark doesn't do some Superman stuff soon I'm going to stop watching. I don't give a shit about the other stuff.

Not the best episode of the show. There are a ton of conveniences that come to light here within the script that makes everything feel a bit less compelling. For instance, Lois is investigating Mannheim then happens to get cancer so she chooses to go to his hospital where she happens to make friends with his wife. And then Mannheim and Peia's son just happens to be the same dude who is dating Nat? In some ways by having everything connected like this it makes the show feel tight and focused, but it comes at the expense of believability. This episode felt the most like a soap opera than perhaps ever before, and while that does make it feel somewhat cheap, I think there's just enough quality for this to feel better than that and the melodrama is still executed pretty well aside from all of the conveniences. I will continue to commend a Superman show that is able to give me no actual Superman scenes in an entire episode yet still keep me interested.
