Great episode

I agree with other comments, more than just a few episodes now are taking classic fairytale stories and putting a spin on them. Not sure I love that. It brings up an interesting concept about those fairytales coming from warning tales that mothers told their children to keep them safe, but I'm still unsure about it. There's something about it that makes these episodes less satisfying than the typical monster-hunting filler episode.

And of course Dean's chance had to slip out of his hands. This was their chance to get rid of the mark without consequence but nooo, we can't do that.

First Oz, now Hansel and Gretel. Even though Dean’s transformation made for some great comedic moments, I dunno if I particularly like a fairytale route for this show.

This cain mark solution is smart, but seems way to easy and feels like they are just brushing it off for the story's sake. I mean, wouldn't they just look for a witch who could do a similar spell, but change it to just right before he got the mark? or how about Crowley? this seems like something the king of hell, or even crossroad demons could do (I bet a lot of people make deals to be younger).

Not sure if unpopular opinion, but I do like this fairytale twists, especially if they are going with the Grimm brother's versions (or alike) and are once in a while. I mean, Spn has alway been big on the lore, and a lot of people forget (or don't know) that those classic stories for children, were originally dark. So as long as they don't get too cheesy, or it feels way too much like OUAT (first time of oz was fine but enough), then good.

I think part of the problem was they did this one right after one with Oz.
