Nice to see the guys' side-off and getting their military camp experience. We see flashbacks and meet some of the pre-soldiers of the future. I liked the directing style and how it went in sync with Sarah's reading of the The Wizard of Oz, John's favorite book. It kinda hits you in the feels a bit.

"Goodbye To All That" is an exceptionally good TSCC episode. There's great action, brilliant acting and lots of emotions too. Especially love the scenes with Sarah and Marty. But also John and Derek at the military academy is nice to wactch.
