Nostalgia made this alright for me. Always loved That 70's Show and seeing Donna and Eric in front of the garage again was the best part. Hopefully this first season will be decent!

At the same point I know they're playing off of my nostalgia for the previous show and I kind of want to see what will happen. I guess the cameos from the old crew will be the best thing from this... Same thing they wanted to achieve with Full House.
A nice introduction to a new era. It was cool to see the old cast, the actors reprised their roles like it was yesterday.
The new cast seems very capable despite their young age.
I think it's difficult to set this series since you need to show '90s kids without changing too much the style of the original concept.
The new kids are awful. They aren't interesting, cannot act and have been given more of a late eighties vibe than mid-nineties. The nostalgia got me though. I'll keep watching for old cast appearances.
OMG what utter crap… Bad acting and jokes that aren’t funny unless you are completely brain dead. What a shame.

All the kids are so cringe. The adult nostalgia actors interactions all feel forced and not smooth. Whoever does the wardrobe for Leia, WTF? Not a good pilot tbh
it even kills the pleasure of a rewatch of this 70s show

I gave a '3' changed it to '5' because of the original casts appearances but I think I'll stop here...

They played the nostalgia card right, but I'm not sure if that's gonna be enough for me. This first episode didn't convince me, so we'll see...
A difficult show to follow. Hard to straddle line between elements from the original and setting up new stuff. It seems to have an okay balance but that's not the issue at hand. The over the top Disney channel writing and acting with the new kids is. It's mostly the guys tbh. Hopefully it calms down but it's a bit too much right now and really jarring.
Kitty and Red are stellar as ever. Never a doubt
The fact that this show got made means that society has been sitting in Eric’s basement getting high for the last few decades. The layers of a show about nostalgia coming back because of nostalgia. It’s layers upon layers, man. But how can I not watch Kitty and Red for another season?
