This is the most appropriately named episode... The Painful Way. The way this episode is acted, directed and written was probably the most painful in this garbage show to date. Terrible 2/10
What a classic cliche, too bad
This is absolutely painful to watch. It was so bad. This may actually be my breaking point with this show.

The saddest thing for me is that there is the germ of a potentially very good show with the core crew, but, the writing on the past couple of episodes, as well as the introduction of such completely unlikable, CRINGY, topotype characters, played by summerstock level actors, is just causing the tidy bowl spiral to pick up speed. Like Mayday Aircraft Investigations, the warning voice keeps yelling "PULL UP", but no one seems to be able, or willing to listen.
What's worse is the recently awakened Tech bro and his wife, besides being completely unlikable, have all the charisma of one of Angus' potatoes, and, anyone who would betray their crew to follow them is seriously lacking in the cognitive department. At minimum, tranq them up and put them back in their pods, but IMO, there is a nice airlock and the empty vastness of space in their future, unless the creepy red headed ghost girl has other plans for them.
