As the story devolves into total absurdity, and even the gorgeous visuals of previous seasons get somewhat muted, the only thing that could keep this season entertaining or enjoyable is Jeremy Irons, who unfortunately gets criminally underused.
It's funny. You want Juan dead throughout the entire first two seasons and now that he is you start to miss him. He brought his own flavor to the show and it is missed in this season. Still pretty great though.
