So, Hal's "abducted" in order for the Iranians to proclaim their innocence in the attack through a (on their side at least) trusted source. But Hal's behaviour makes it difficult to name him the source of the intelligence. And then the British PM gets into the revenge mentality, and the American president is soon to join him.
Kate's trying to emancipate herself from Hal, we learn why Hal's a persona non grata right now in the state department... I like it so far.
Wow that was amazing episode. Much better than the first one. I hope this level of writing and acting keeps up for the rest of the season.
