A solid ending to a very good series. Well worth a watch :thumbsup_tone1:.

Glad I was right about the wall.

Liked Vera’s speech. It’s true. We could solve poverty, starvation, all of that. All the billionaires could fix it. The huge conglomerates. The world leading industries. They just choose not to. Because what would a world be where everyone has equal opportunities – not profitable.

The never more was a nice touch.
And then him quoting the raven I’ve been hoping for this. The rare and radiant maiden whom the angels call lenore!

While the show in itself wasn’t something I would give max rating, this last episode had a bunch of important things to say, so important in fact that alone deserves a 10/10 in my book.

I like how literally they took the title of the series, near the end.

Loved all the The Cask of Amontillado homages and all the Edgar Allan Poe references. Excellent show.

I am somewhat embarrassed that it wasn't until the last episode that I realized "Verna" is an anagram for "Raven."

The end was just ok. I didn't care for all the current political tropes that had to be jammed in the end.

The "Mike Flanagan cinematic universe" continues with another phenomenal addition. Littered with Edgar Allan Poe references makes it a must watch for his literary fans and those of the Gothic, horror, and mystery genres.

Each episode was wonderfully shot and each of the Usher's death scenes were terrifying, especially Tamerlane. The reveal of what's hidden behind the wall in the basement was chilling to watch. Not surprising the repeated references of "The Tell-Tale Heart."

It's interesting reading others comments calling this show a horror version of "Succession." A powerful, wealthy family where all the children are fighting to be next in line for the throne. Meanwhile, the Ushers are fighting to stay alive never learning why they're being taken away one by one.

A well-written script with horror elements externalizing the characters fears kept my focus on my TV from start to finish making sure not to miss a single detail. I can't wait to see what comes next from Mike Flanagan.

Weird to read people complaining about the political messages of this episode. Madeleine's speech was a bit over-the-top, sure, but the show is about how the pharmaceutical industry truly destroyed modern civilization as we know it and I feel like Mike Flanagan decided to make his point as obvious as possible for people that didn't "get it" (kinda like BARBIE and the whole America Ferrera speech).

As for the episode itself, I'm usually not a fan of endings where everything is explained and fully closed, but it was a blast to watch one hour of electric television with no stops. I do feel like this could've been a 3-hour movie because the middle part was just very boring and mostly useless for the main plot (did we really need to spend that much time with the monkey stuff and Tammy's relationship?)

Series finale, I liked what they tell and how they tell it. Carla Gugino and Mark Hamill a pleasant surprise.
