I'm still confused on how Savitar came to exist.
But one of my fave quotes was "Who's Hartley?" "He was this guy we used to work with. Such a dick, you actually reminded me of him when you first came on board." Julian's face in that scene was just golden. Cisco is just the best thing ever.
I was ready Iris' "Barry, you were better when you had no memories" subtitled on her face. I know she loves him and everything and that that's theory he was supposed to be, but all those dark memories make you who you are and what Iris wanted to do can't be done because "You can't lock up the darkness!" I guess Hunter Zolomon was right, your darkest memories make you who you are. When she said that Barry's parents died "peacefully" it just got weird but I can't blame her for that. I guess breaking the news that both your parents are dead is not an easy task.
By the way, I loved Bart Allen's guest appearance. Seriously, what a bizarre episode with an even bizarrer ending. What the hell was that ending? Seriously, ARGUS is a weird place. So they basically hid dominator's tech and put King Shark as a guard dog. People at ARGUS are just crazy.
And next week's episode is very promising. We get Snart back and I couldn't be more hyped. I don't care how bizarre this gets as long as we have Captain Cold back.
This episode had a lot of speedlogic. I mean, it's all a paradox but when Barry's memory got erased, Savitar's should have. I mean, he himself should've been erased because he's never created in the new timeline. And Wally not having powers is perfectly OK, but he shouldn't remember even having them in the first place as well as the rest of team Flash. They shouldn't acknowledge Wally having powers simply because Savitar didn't exist to give them to him. But you know: Speedforce, I ain't gonna explain shit.
Funniest part of the episode was Savitar's memory being suddenly erased and he looking into the camera saying "Who am I?". Man, I couldn't laugh any harder. It was like who am I? why am I here? Please, somebody explain. I need to know.
That Bazooka part got me rotflmao. Damn, H.R.!
"So how do we know each other ?" "Your brother" immediately proceeds to watch the color of his skin, lol. And Wally's reaction. My lord, I need of gif of that. Julian saying "Oh my Lord. He's pathetic" was something I enjoyed. And the courtroom scene was just perfect. "Smiley face", I died. Original Barry Allen is such a goof. And low rent Mick Rory was something to remember. I love justice in the Flash, an arsonist is freed and then he basically sets a building on fire.
But the episode wasn't just that. No, they even included some emotionally heartbreaking scenes with Iris and Barry, Cisco, Caitlin and Julian. Cisco saying that Caitlin was in every single memory he cherishes the most and Caitlin's reaction broke my heart into pieces. And then the elevator scene. Julian just signed his death certificate by telling Caitlin he loves her. And that dramatic scene was absolutely incredible. damn. "I never loved any of you", the elevator's door opens and she leaves the building. That was just cold. And her eyes, my goodness, I'm gonna die.
AWESOME! Absolutely amazing episode! You just gotta love this show. And the more episodes I watch the more I love it. One of the best episodes this season. It's was amazing to see the other side of Barry. It's fascinating to see that this is the hero Barry was supposed to be, this light-hearted, happy and amazing guy he was when his parents were alive. Seeing Barry that happy and being as adorkable as ever melted my heart.
It was so interesting to see the hero Barry was supposed to be before Eobard ducked everything up. He was certainly an easy-going guy. I guess this is as closest as we'll see Barry in his original timeliness when he became the Flash in 2020.
"Cause a.d Effect" otherwise known as the transition between "Run,Barry, run" got to "Don't remember Barry, don't remember".
Lets go by parts, like Jack the Ripper. So so Savitar (btw, is it Savitarry or Barritar?) is a time remnant that future Barry creates in order to go to the past kill Iris go like crazy and become Savitar. An infinite loop and a helluva paradox. That first scene was absolutely amazing. Love that quote "See that's the thing about time travel Barry, the more you do it, the less the rules apply to you". That's got to be the writers' "Speedforce, I ain't gonna explain shit". Or, modifying it "See that's the thing about writing episodes of The Flash, the more seasons you write, the less the logic applies to the storyline", lol. Anyways, seeing Savitar's suit kicking ass on its own was freaking amazing. Yeah, we all knew your suit was cooler, no need to boast.
Didn't like the concept of this episode at first seeing as it is quite filler. However, it became really heroic throughout and I liked it. Definitely one of the better episodes of the season. And WTF! King Shark and Dominator egg thing!?
Pretty close to bailing on this show. It's turned into more of an attempt at being an aloof romcom. WAY too much romance going on. Every single character has to have a romantic side-plot? 95% of the show is bad, boring romance scene, briefly interrupted buy something of a superhero plot for half a minute, then back to another long, boring romance scene.
People watch superhero shows/movies for the superhero ACTION.
Another episode to hinder the plot and to advance little
“So, how do we know each other?”
“Oh, I’m your brother.”
checks skin
So if Barry kills himself, savitar is completely fine because “time is tricky” or whatever, but if Barry looses his memory’s suddenly so does savitar. Does that make sense ?
Wow, a good episode of Flash. I was thinking they don't make those anymore.
Smiley Face, really? X'D
A member of Team Flash finds out something and DOESN'T keep it from the rest of the team in a misguided attempt to protect them. Did they change the writers or something?

My name is Bart Allen, and I'm told I'm the fastest man alive. To the outside world, I'm apparently an ordinary forensic scientist, but secretly, with the help of awkward people claiming to be my family and experimenting with me at STAR labs, I find out I love Dragon Ball Z and that I'm engaged. In an attempt to testify at court against a guy named Monger, my glasses accidentally got wet and the only thing I could say was that the flames were yellow. But I won't let that happen. I'm gonna utter every word Julian types to imprison this guy, and I'm the only one qualified anough to testify against him. I am the Streak.
