Jerome may not have a legal duty to disclose, but I think morally, he should have disclosed it to his partner before they had sex or gotten into a relationship. I think it's important that people can make an informed decision, and they can't do that without all the information. It feels too much like a trap to deliberately keep it hidden. This is a really difficult topic though, because there is so much unnecessary stigma around HIV, but I still think there are moral responsibilities that shouldn't be ignored.
