Legendary voice acting, especially for the salesman himself. At times it can also be relatively visually appealing on top of being an interesting window into the culture of the pre bubble bust culture of downtown Tokyo or urban Japan in general, I guess. However, barely any of the jokes connect and I find its politics and ideals that its propagating old-fashioned and backwards. After a while, it also becomes very apparent how limiting the concept of the show is and the episodic tales start to become increasingly stale, especially towards the end of the show's run.
