So far Steve Carell has kept me interested just because I’m a big fan and like seeing him in a dramatic role, but I think this show is at risk of becoming too boring. The episodes are very short for a drama series but I honestly don’t think the show would benefit from longer episodes because the premise is very simple and small. As a psychology student myself I actually appreciate some of the therapy scenes and they’re handled better and more accurately than most other tv shows and movies, but they’ll need to throw in some more interesting story elements to give the show some life. After the end of this episode it looks like we might be headed that way so I’m hoping for the best.
First episode that has actually worked for me. Still not sure on the run time format, but better. Especially the ending.
