[6/10] Not bad. Reducing Bart, Lisa, and Maggie to eyeballs floating around in the dark gives the animators the chance to be a little more expressive and creative with the poses. The scary story premise makes this one feel a little like a precursor to the “Treehouse of Horror” series. The gags are decent. I especially like Maggie turning out to be the misdirect/culprit in the strangler and vampire stories, and Marge and Homer inadvertently acting out Bart’s final scary tale is a solid beat. Still doesn’t quite have that Simpsons spark, but we’re getting there.
