8.5/10 on a post-classic Simpsons scale. The humor here was on point, with a lot of fun gags about the life of luxury that The Simpsons were stumbling into. The episode did a good job at motivating both Homer and Lisa here. Homer's feeling that he lacks the finer things in life was well-established, and Lisa finding someone who shares her interest in magic (a call back to "The Great Simpsina") as a bridge to making a real, coincidentally wealthy, friend gave them good reason to come together.
And then the way both of those things tied into the main conflict of the episode, Homer wanting him and his family to be able to enjoy the things he can't provide, and Lisa feeling marginalized by her would-be friend. It presented a legitimate emotional conflict in the episode that worked to give the story stakes even in quieter moments. It's a solid premise and while the show got a little cartoony with Harper and her dad's displays of wealth, it otherwise put the concept to its highest and best use.
Outside of the main story, the laughs were definitely there, from the One Direction parody (with a "Join The Navy" call back), to Bart's misadventures, to Homer's crowdfunding video. All-in-all, a great effort in what's been a surprisingly good Season 27 so far.
Homer befriends a rich man who's daughter doesn't treat Lisa very good.
I laughed a lot; so yeah it was a good episode.

There's a fictional Australian boyband featured in this one. I'm not sure if it's based on actual band and I didn't clearly catch their name; "Doe-Eyed.." something. There's a list of fictional/made-up boybands from movies and shows on a blog somewhere online, so I'm gonna try and submit this one to it.
