What can you say? It's an episode that has great narrative momentum in terms of Bart's quest to reclaim the lemon tree; wonderful social commentary in the way we reserves our hatreds and deepest rivalries not for those who are the most different from us, but for those who are the most similar; unbelievably well-done comedy, from running gags like roman numerals, to great character-based humor like Nelson and Martin having to team up, to the absurdity of Homer's use of Ned's RV; and an amusing, well-observed take on how kids see the world and twist the lessons of their parents. All-in-all, it's one of the show's absolute best episodes, and that's saying something.
