Ok, that woman complains that minority background baristers only make up 12.7%.
I could only find numbers for 2011 within a few minutes. But back the: "According to the Office for National Statistics, there were approximately 64.6 million people living in the UK in mid-2014. Of these, 56.2 million (87.2 per cent) were White British."
Which means that 12.8% were anything other than "White British". Unless there was a massive change within 10 years (which is possible), I would argue that 12.7% is actually quite close to 12.8% Especially since Barristers (as far as I know) don't make up a huge part of the UK populous.
Did they just copy this off some US Script? Maybe read a census some time before complaining?
