In my view: - If you haven't read the book, you won't understand the plot - If you have read the book, you will wonder why they mixed the timeline, changed the characters, made weird changes to the plot
By the time I got to episode 6, I was wondering whether it was worth while investing the time in watching to the end...but had spent so much time, and I wanted to understand those weird plot changes. But I was wrong.
In my view, don't bother with this. Read the book and enjoy. Or if you are desperate, watch the earlier The Stand (1994) version.
