Omg that was bad, really bad.
Like others have stated... I'm not sure what the take-away is here. Like yay good prevails? But why? Because God was on their side? That's a lot of build up for an anticlimactic God's got your back story.
And the Witch Flew!!!! Mummy, Mummy look I've got wings. I think that was one of the best falls I've ever seen on TV.
Slightly different ending to the original show. The hand of God exploded the bomb I think. What was the ball of lightening? God or Mother Abigail or Aliens? What's gonna happen on the last episode I wonder. This one was the end pretty much on the original show. The original is better IMO.
Ok that was just stupid. All that build up & a stupid lighting kills everyone.
Am I the only one a little confused about this episode ? Hope it all gets cleared up in the next one.
Rest in peace Nadine Cross (2020-2021):broken_heart:
Does anyone else think that Fran looks like the actress Olivia Cooke. At first, I thought it was her
An anticlimactic battle between good and evil. Just like the original mini-series and the book.
Yeah... I wasn't really feeling this episode. It seemed super anticlimactic. All that build up and thats all it took to take it down? I get that they had a limited episode count to deal with but still.
Seeing Tommy at the end redeemed the episode for me though. Hope they do better with the finale.
I cannot stand watching week to week shows anymore. I have to binge. This has gotten better than I thought it was going to be. But it just points out how bad Stephen King is at character development and ending stories.
Well... looking forward to seeing the old version again now...
Just like in the book, that was too easy.
