There was a lot to enjoy in "Valley Of The Shadow". I liked the idea that a very intelligent person or alien or something, left a life altering technology to the care of a little town in the middle of nowhere. There were a number of shocking events that took place and I don't want to post spoilers so I'll just say the crash, the letter opener, and the .38 were unexpected. David Opatoshu was great as Dorn and the innocence of Ellen Marshall was portrayed wonderfully by Natalie Trundy. Loved the dog and the ending was satisfying.
