The Undeclared War

Season 1

Interesting enough, but a bit elongated with some mediocre acting

Simon Pegg is an exception - almost unrecognisable and definitely showing his acting chops after his earlier career. Impressive

But in terms of the story, it was a story of it's time. Uncertainty around voting results, attempts to destablise society, bot farms on twitter (just following some around the covid), perceptions manipulated to get people out protesting, all things happening around me.

But also a little too unrealistic in places. The teacher spending half his time protesting, the riot police without protection, some of the political discourse. the brilliant but increasingly angry intern who walks through her own visualisations, unmonitored network traffic in a secure site

Overall? Not brilliant, but good enough, and may even get some people thinking about some topical events.
And I'll watch the next season
